PARALLEL BEAM EXPOSURE UNITS
The high precision parallel beam exposure units of the EXP 2000 and EXP 600 series are double sided units, each equipped with one mercury halide lamp per side with apower of 4000 resp. 600 Watt each.
Construction
Sturdy, welded tube frame with coated wall panels. The chassis consists of a sliding drawer system with fully automatic insertion and ejection. A yellow light table is integrated in the machine front.
Operation
The exposure time is set on a keyboard and shown on a digital readout. A vacuum pump provides a close and uniform contact between artwork and board. The exposure cycle starts when the drawer slides in. At that moment, the timer count down starts, the lamp shutters are opened and the lamp supply changes from stand-by to full power. The machines have powerful cooling fans. EXP 2000 additionally is equipped with a big extraction turbine to discharge the hot air to the atmosphere. When the exposure time has elapsed, the drawer is ejected automatically and the vacuum is stopped.
